KELLOGG OLYMPICS 

PROUD SPONSOR OF THE START

Objective: Take Kellogg's "proud sponsors of the start" and turn it into collectible posters but utilizing existing low res photography.

 

Many times being an artist is a challenge. There's always the drive to perfection, in order to maintain a certain visual standard. This is why when Kellogg came to my team with some low res athlete promo shots and the notion to build large posters - I was nervous. How would we maintain the quality if we had to blow up the imagery?

 

The answer was in their heritage. Kellogg is an older brand with a great identity. If you look at any cereal box the quality isn't great, but it's part of the look and feel for the brand. My team took this to heart, and combined the texture of the Kellogg heritage, and overlayed that with posterized imagery that felt at home with the brand. A great example of overcoming a tight budget while still maintaining the standards of a great company.
